Monday’s Adventures Wow!
Well as you know we started the day with little sleep but as you know wevare troopers! Up and out at 11:15 and a visit to Jim Thompson’s House. He was an American who moved to Bangkok and redeveloped the Silk industry. His house has become famous neong built entirely of teak wood and today holds the original furniture and collectables it was very interesting unfortunately I could only take pics from the outside. After lunch we took a trip through Bangkok on a long boat on the Chao Pharya river Too cool! I have posted pics of this on this site. Rather interesting to see the homes and shops with some rather decorated buildings here and there. We stopped at The Temple of Dawn (Wat Arum) which was beautiful and finisged with great detail. Beforr entering all women had to cover bare arm and must have clothing to or past knee. You can see some of the detail in the photos I have posted. To end the day we went to a cultural show Siram Niramit. It was a story told about the history and culture through dress and dance! Ok so back in the room at 1045 for wake up call at 6 for Tuesday’s adventure....,
